Registration Assistance

The LACVB has part-time, on-call, experienced and professional personnel available to assist with registration for conventions, meetings, trade shows and seminars. Our representatives are courteous, efficient and take pride in the opportunity to be of service.
We can also help you with registration by creating full color name badges for your convention attendees to be delivered at the registration site prior to the event. If necessary, we can also provide a personalized, detailed map of La Crosse labeling the hotels and local attractions your attendees may be using.

Information Table

The LACVB will also provide an information table for your attendees near the registration area so that your attendees have access to local attractions in our area. We will set up a table containing a variety of business brochures to include categories in shopping, river cruises, dining and more. We also will provide your attendees with a downtown map and our La Crosse Visitors Guide.

Online Housing Bureau

As a service to the convention and meeting planner, the La Crosse Area Convention & Visitors Bureau offers a professional, computerized Housing Bureau Program. The Housing Bureau acts as the liaison between the attendee requesting hotel accommodations and the hotel offering these accommodations.
The LACVB works personally with the selected hotels to ensure all housing needs are met. Some charges may apply, please review the Housing Bureau Procedures for more information.

Entertainment & Speakers

The Convention Services Department can guide you in finding entertainment for your convention by referring you to local bands, comedians, speakers, singers and more. We also can assist you in finding a theme to base your entertainment on. The LACVB works closely with its member businesses to better assist every group that travels to La Crosse.

Programs & Activities

We will work closely with you to suggest appropriate tours, activities and events for convention guests. Some of the most successful activities include boat cruises, golf outings, fishing and hiking expeditions, fashion shows, specialized arts and crafts, music and other entertainment, shopping excursion, attraction tours, and guided motorcoach tours. We can also set up spouse tours and childrens programs as well.
