Stoddard – Chaseburg Loop

Just got time for a quick ride? This popular loop heads south out of La Crosse on a flat, straight highway; then up a quiet farm valley before returning up a challenging hill. This is a short and (mostly) flat loop southbound out of La Crosse, along the Mississippi and then eastwards up a quiet, rural farm valley. An eight-foot shoulder on the Great River Road helps you follow the Mississippi river to Stoddard. An easy, rolling road takes you east to Chaseburg. But you’ll finish with a bang: a big, challenging climb up the hill on County K takes you north back to La Crosse.
