March is Women’s History Month. Each year the Holmen Area Historical Society strives to recognize women in our area who have made a difference. Our March 3 program, “A Nurse Responds on 9/11,” will feature Judy Wolff, who as a Red Cross nurse went to New York to help those affected by the World Trade Center terrorist attacks on 9/11, 2001. She will talk about what she experienced as well as her ongoing struggle with illness as a result. As usual, our gathering will be at the Holmen Area Community Center, beginning at 6:00 Monday, March 3, after brief announcements. Refreshments will follow. As always the program is free and open to the public.
