Bells of the Bluffs Handbell Concert

Bells of the Bluffs are the featured performers in the showcase concert of the Handbell Musicians of America Area 7 Handbell Conference. The public is invited. $20 tickets at the door. The concert is Fri., June 21, 2024 at 7:30 p.m. Bells of the Bluffs will play a variety of music, starting with songs that showcase traditional bell sounds in classical settings and familiar hymns, then moving into a fast-paced set of jazz standards and popular songs that clearly show handbells aren’t just for church. The audience will experience awe-inspiring sounds, moving love songs and toe-tapping favorites from popular bands like the Beach Boys and ABBA. They’ll be joined by several guest musicians who will add vocals, lyrical flute, percussion beats, guitar riffs, and more. You’ll experience the sounds of a tubulum and a theremin! Bells of the Bluffs is a regional handbell ensemble devoted to sharing their passion for handbells with people of all ages.
