A Family Friendly Classic Takes the Stage

36 local children make up the cast and crew of One Way Theatre’s MainStage production of Charlotte’s Web, the story of a little pig and his friendship with a barnyard spider. Directed by Joanna Heram.

Some Pig. Humble. Radiant.
These are the words in Charlotte’s web, high up in Zuckerman’s barn. Charlotte’s spiderweb tells of her feelings for a little pig named Wilbur, who simply wants a friend. They also express the love of a girl named Fern, who saved Wilbur’s life when he was born the runt of his litter. But is it enough to save his life again?

A story of hope and determination, Charlotte’s Web is full of laughs, life lessons, and touching moments. E.B. White’s Newbery Honor Book is a tender novel of friendship, love, life, and death and this stage adaption perfectly captures its charm and poignancy.

The play is based on the book by E.B. White and adapted to the stage by Joseph Robinette. Produced by special arrangement with THE DRAMATIC PUBLISHING COMPANY of Woodstock, Illinois.

One Way Theatre is a local community theatre focused on bringing quality productions to home educated youth, community adults, and audiences of all ages.
