Darrell Scott with Johnsmith+Dan Sebranek

Leo and Leona’s is thrilled to welcome for the first time multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter Darrell Scott who has been described as one of the greatest songwriters in music. In 2023 Darrell was nominated for the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame and he has been named ASCAP and NSAI Songwriter of the Year. He has written songs made famous by The Chicks (Long Time Gone), Travis Tritt (It’s A Great Day to be Alive) and Brad Paisley (You’ll Never Leave Harlan Alive). In addition to his songwriting Darrell is an incredible player. He was selected to be a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist by Robert Plant when he formed the Band of Joy and toured for two years with the Zak Brown Band.

Opening for Darrell will be Johnsmith and Dan Sebranek. Darrell has appeared on and produced a number of John’s CD’s and Darrell’s song “Love’s Not Through with Me Yet” is on John’s CD Break Me Open.
