Learn about pollinator-friendly coffee growing Practices

Our presenter, Edgar Rodriguez, grew up on a coffee farm in Guatemala, but currently lives in our area. His family grows shade-grown coffee in small batches at this farm. Learn about their farm and the bird- and pollinator-friendly practices used to grow their coffee,
including planting trees and using organic matter to improve soils
and nutrients for growing coffee, keeping the farm sustainable.
Edgar’s coffee is certified by the Rain Forest Alliance and is organic
fair trade. We will have some of his coffee available to sample. This
presentation is best suited for adults.
