Music in the Valley

Time moves so quickly; have you ever felt the need to just slow down and enjoy the moment?  That’s Music in the Valley – a chance to sit back, enjoy the beauty of Norskedalen, listen to wonderful music from local favorites, and chat with friends. We invite you to bring a lawn chair or blanket and pick your favorite spot to relax.  There will be plenty of variety as Norskedalen features a variety of musical acts and genres of music.

This summer concert series will occur on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 to 7:30, beginning June 25, 2025.  Admission is free and guests are welcome to carry in snacks and beverages.  Borgen’s in Westby will be serving dinner entrees in the shelter each week.  Dinner will be available for purchase on a first-come-first-served basis. 

The second Wednesday in August will wrap up Music in the Valley and feature a Grumpy Old Men and their big brass sound.  This will also be Norskedalen’s annual Threshing Bee Dinner, featuring roast beef and all the trimmings.  It will be a hearty meal, and don’t forget to save room for the pie! 

Music in the Valley is a FREE concert series provided by our members to Norskedalen’s surrounding communities.  Donations for the evening are never required, but always appreciated!
