The well-known Steamboat War Eagle met a tragic end in 1870, but it had a long run of 16 years. Who rode the boat during those good years that it traveled the Upper Mississippi? Based on new research, Bob Taunt will talk about some of its captains, crewmen, and passengers. Come hear about the famous and infamous people in this all-new program from Bob Taunt!

Senior Moments—learning and entertainment for older adults—is held on Wednesdays at 10 a.m. at the Onalaska Public Library through May 15. It is generously funded by the Ben & Floyde Sias Foundation.
