| Last Friday, the groundhog predicted just six more weeks of winter. Actually, he was just excited for the return of SOAR: SPRING HATCH which is just six weeks away on March 23-24! We are excited, too! This year’s March festival is shaping up to be a spectacular weekend as we welcome back longtime friends and SOAR favorites Wings to Soar for the first time since the pandemic in 2020. Husband and wife team John and Dale Stokes will be coming up from Georgia with an impressive menagerie of raptor educators including an albino Barred Owl, Peregrine Falcon, Harris Hawk, Black Vulture, Bald Eagle, Red-tailed Hawk, and MORE! Their high-energy and highly educational flying bird show introduces the audience to some very cool raptors and flies them above their heads inside St. Felix Auditorium for an unforgettable experience! |
Additional guest exhibitors will include the International Wolf Center, MN DNR, Minnesota author Merici Higgins, and festival regular Native Arts with Dick Mindykowski. We will also host arts and crafts for kids including a button-creation station and a new birdhouse decoration station!
Thirsty? Need a treat? Food trucks from Cabin Coffee and K&K Poppins caramel corn and mini doughnuts will be on site all weekend.
