Community Trail Farm Campaign Kickoff

Join us for the fundraising launch of the Community Trail Farm project on October 19th from noon to 4pm at W5701–W5725 WIS-33, La Crosse!
Without the helping hands of all of the community, ORA Trails would not exist. As we embark on the vision to springboard into massive action and impact through the objectives of the Community Trail Farm, we need those helping hands once again.
In 2023, with support of enthusiastic partners and donors, ORA Trails seized the opportunity to purchase and protect a stunning 277-acre parcel of land just one mile east of La Crosse in the Town of Shelby. This beautiful property, rich in forests, fields, and streams, is positioned near neighborhoods, businesses, schools, and public transit, creating the position to foster community connection with the outdoors. With 15 miles of shared-use trails, educational programming, and welcoming spaces for all abilities and people, this project aims to foster a healthier and more resilient community by enhancing access to nature and connection with the outdoors. The Community Trail Farm represents a significant opportunity to celebrate local history and culture while promoting conservation, recreation, and education.

The celebration will include live music, food trucks, guided tours, presentations, and engaging family-friendly activities. Help us kick off our fundraising efforts for the Community Trail Farm, as we work towards bringing this space to the community.
