With many years in the music and dance band industry, Chuck Thiel and His Jolly Ramblers of Lester Prairie, MN play danceable and memorable music that is pleasing to crowds of all ages. You’ll enjoy anything from polka to the old standards to classic country to 50’s-60’s and country rock. A steady beat and beautiful instrumental and vocal blends make this band very popular throughout the local area and beyond. Solid bass keyboard, 2-3 part horns and percussion along with some very nice concertina fills and solos complete a really enjoyable sound.
Chuck, who plays concertina and leads vocals, is a second generation member with the band since 1962. Jason is third generation and started with the band in 1989 playing drums before transitioning to keyboard. Jason’s sons make up Generation IV: Jacob started playing drums at age five and became a full-time member in 2020. Noah plays trumpet alongside his dad. Benjamin plays the drums to keep your feet moving!
