Friday, February, 6, 2026, The weekend kicks off with the IF – Adventure Film Festival on Friday, February 6th at the historic Rivoli Theater & Pizzeria (117 4th St. N, La Crosse). Doors open at 6:00 p.m. Designed as an inviting third space between home and the outdoors, the festival brings the community together for an evening of storytelling, inspiration, and winter adventure. Saturday, February 7, 2026,1-7 p.m. ORA Trails, BLACK, Beer by Bike Brigade, and Adventure Films invite the community to join us for a Cold Weather Get Together that is a FREE family-friendly, a come-and-go community winter gathering designed to celebrate winter recreation while encouraging people of all ages and experience levels to get outside at Upper Hixon Park and the Pump Track.
Activities will include casual hiking, biking, and running on the trails; a family scavenger hunt with geocache-style exploration bins; a kids pump track area; and opportunities to warm up with hot cocoa, s’mores, and fireside conversations. Other activities will also take place, including the Cup of Love chili/soup cook-off and a 50/50 raffle. The day will wrap up with door prizes and a cozy candlelight hike at sunset.
The Cold Weather Get Together is all about creating a welcoming, inclusive winter experience and connecting our community through outdoor recreation in the bluffs.
