March to the Cross is a powerful community fundraising event, passionately organized by the Holmen Knights of Columbus. This heartfelt challenge is dedicated to honoring our local veterans and raising essential funds for the Freedom Honor Flight. The Freedom Honor Flight program gives veterans from Western Wisconsin, Southeastern Minnesota, and Northern Iowa a priceless opportunity: a trip to Washington, D.C., completely free of charge, where they can visit the memorials built in their honor. For many veterans, especially those from the Vietnam era, this journey is not only a once-in-a-lifetime experience but also a deeply meaningful recognition of their service and sacrifice.
Currently, the waiting list for the Freedom Honor Flight out of La Crosse includes about 650 veterans, most of whom served during the Vietnam War. The program receives no government funding and relies solely on the generosity of donors and the dedication of volunteers. Every dollar raised goes directly to making these flights possible, and the future of this incredible mission depends on the support of caring individuals like you. Bags Tournament and Basket Raffle at Features in Holmen
1-1:30pm: Bags Team Check In
130 pm: Basket Raffle (Winners announced at 4:00pm)
