Calling all local artists and makers! Join The Rivoli Theatre and Macrame Mama WI on Sunday, August 9th and bring your favorite crafting project to the cinema for a whimsical Summer Crafternoon!
We’ll be showing Steven Spielberg's 1991 Peter Pan adaptation, Hook, in the Misco Screening Room, except unlike the usual movie going experience, the house lights will be left on gently dimmed to allow you to enjoy the movie while crafting! Rivoli concessions will be open for snacks/drinks with fun pirate themed cocktails!
Doors open at 3pm and the movie will start at 3:30pm
Crafting guidelines:
Permitted: knitting, crochet, macrame, sewing, embroidery, paper crafts like collaging, stamps, drawing or washable markers.
Not permitted: paints or any kind of liquids, permanent markers, devices that make noise or need electricity like sewing machines.
Don’t have a current project? No problem! Macrame Mama WI will have a selection of craft kits available for purchase!
