The Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe warmly invites pilgrims and visitors to a special organ recital by Scott Turkington, Director of Sacred Music at the Shrine, on Sunday, August 16 at 3:00 p.m. Mr. Turkington will perform a program of sacred organ music on the Shrine's magnificent 50-rank Noack pipe organ – an instrument celebrated for its rich tonal beauty and its power to bring the Church's musical tradition to life. All are welcome to spend an afternoon of sacred music and quiet reflection in the beauty of the Shrine Church. Admission is free, and donations are gratefully accepted.
