Visitor Center Hours & Locations
Check out our Visitor Center locations throughout the region. We have three conveniently located throughout the La Crosse Region.
The Visitor Center is located in our main office at 123 S. 7th St. La Crosse, WI. Our office is staffed with friendly, knowledgeable experts ready to help you find the best places to eat, stay, and explore in the La Crosse Region. We also offer free brochures, local information, and directions to make your visit even easier.
The Travel Wisconsin Welcome Center Rest Area 31 is located off east bound I-90, this rest area and welcome center provides restrooms, area for pets to stretch, and information regarding the surrounding area including maps, brochures, directions, and much more. Outside brochure rack information and restrooms are still accessible when center is not staffed.
The Great River Landing Visitor Center is uniquely situated on Wisconsin’s Great River Road, Onalaska’s waterfront has an opportunity to influence the entire region due to the site’s extraordinary features. It serves as the trailhead for the Great River State Trail, which connects 101 miles of interconnecting state bicycle trails and offers access to the 120-acre ecologically diverse Wittenberg Marsh, the Onalaska Spillway, the Black and Mississippi Rivers, and Lake Onalaska.
