Join us for an evening with The Guthries, a Driftless-rooted duo blending Americana, folk, country, blues, and rock into a sound that feels both timeless and deeply local.
With rich harmonies, accomplished musicianship, and songs shaped by life in the Kickapoo Valley, Scott and Ericka bring the kind of music that feels equally at home around a campfire, on a back porch, or under an open summer sky.
Set in the relaxed outdoor garden setting at Second Nature as part of the Third Thursday Market series, this will be a laid-back night of live music, good company, and fresh air. Bring a chair, grab a drink, and settle in for an evening full of stories, songs, and Driftless soul.
Market opens at 5pm, live music at 6pm.
A bit about The Guthries:
The Guthries have their roots planted deep in the Driftless Region. Based in the Kickapoo Valley, Scott and Ericka Guthrie perform full-time throughout the quad-state area, creating music influenced by folk, country, rock, and blues traditions. Scott previously released music with Medicinal Purposes and co-wrote the soundtrack for the award-winning film The Final 19, while Ericka founded the annual Driftless Women in Music event and helped produce the Driftless Women in Music album. Together, their performances move easily between acoustic folk and electric blues, carried by heartfelt vocals, strong songwriting, and a shared love of Americana music.
