Hey kids, have you ever wondered what makes Christmas trees so special? Join us for a hands-on science exploration where we’ll uncover cool facts behind evergreens and how nature gets ready for winter. This is more than just about trees—it’s about discovering how people, animals, and plants all gear up for the chilly season!

• Winter Survival Tactics: Learn how humans, animals, and plants each have their own way of preparing for the cold—who hibernates and who toughs it out?
• Deciduous vs. Evergreen: Think all trees are the same? Think again! We’ll teach you how to tell the difference between trees that drop their leaves and those that stay green all winter. Learn about a cool tree that seems to break all the rules…
• Evergreen Exploration: Get up close and personal with different types of evergreens. We’ll use our senses to observe the color, shape, texture, and smell of various boughs—can you tell which is which?
• A Holiday Tale: Hear the story of Redbird at Rockefeller Center, the true story of the iconic Rockefeller Center Christmas tree and the special cardinal who lived in it.

This workshop is perfect for curious kids who love nature, Christmas, and discovering how the world around us works. We’ll have fun, get hands-on with trees, and learn about the evergreens that make the holiday season so special.

BONUS: Sign up in a group of 2 or more, and you will save $5 on each participant!
