La Crosse Area Parkinson’s Walk and Awareness Event

Join us Saturday, May 4th from 10:00-2:00 pm at Myrick Park in La Crosse for the 2nd Annual Parkinson’s Walk and Awareness Event!
(Sponsored by Overhead Door of the 7 Rivers Region, The STAR Center, and The City of La Crosse Parks and Recreation)

This event is to raise awareness for Parkinson’s Disease. Donations will support local Parkinson’s exercise, education, and support programs in the immediate community. Donations will also go toward the Michael J. Fox Foundation for medical research on the disease.

The event is FREE to attend, but donations are encouraged!
Reserve a custom synthetic shirt – $15, proceeds will go directly towards donation. They must be ordered by April 23rd at 12:00 pm.

Event Timeline:
10:00 am: In Person Registration and Shirt Pick Up Opens
11:00 am: Opening Ceremony
11:15 am: Walk Begins (1 mile loop)
12:00-2:00 pm: Education & Resource Booths, Raffles, Live Music with Joe Cody, Food Trucks – Apothik Eatery, Bettys Tacos, Children Activities, & Exercise Demonstrations. There will be something for everybody!
