You are welcome to come try out Color Guard with the La Crosse Stars at our open practices: November 1st and November 8th, 10 AM – Noon @ Logan Middle!
What is Winter Color Guard?
Winter guard is an indoor color guard sport and performance art derived from military ceremonies.
Modern winter guard is a competitive, performance-based activity which incorporates choreographed staging, dance, and manipulation of equipment such as flags, prop rifles, and sabers.
Essentially, we incorporate dance, music, and the use of flags/rifles/sabres to create a beautiful and unique experience!
1st – 8th graders are welcome to join the La Crosse Stars!
BONUS: The fees associated with the La Crosse Stars are some of the lowest (approximately $150 for the season plus costumes – we work to keep those under $100)
WEAR COMFORTABLE CLOTHES AND TENNIS SHOES! PULL YOUR HAIR UP AND BRING A WATER BOTTLE!
