La Crosse Wind Symphony Fall Concert

This opening concert of the 2023-24 season features guest clarinet soloist and Wisconsin native Babette Belter performing “Spellbound” from John Mackey’s newest concerto, “Divine Mischief”. The band will also be featuring the “Second Suite in F for Military Band” by Gustav Holst, Percy Grainger’s “Children’s March: Over the Hills and Far Away”, “Elsa’s Procession to the Cathedral from Lohengrin” by Richard Wagner and Karl King’s “Barnum and Bailey’s Favorite March”. The program begins with “Keystone Celebration” for brass and percussion by John Cheetham and will conclude the program with the Finale from James Barnes’ magnificent Symphony No. 3.
