Step into the prairie and discover the changing seasons on a short, FREE, nature-filled walk. We’ll look for wildflowers blooming along the trails, notice signs of fall, and explore how prairie plants prepare and disperse their seeds for the next growing season. After our walk, we’ll get creative and make native plant seed bombs to take home and plant – a hands-on way to enjoy the beauty of the prairie while helping bring more native wildflowers and habitat to our communities. This program will best be enjoyed by adults and children ages seven and above, but all ages are welcome. The walking path is accessible to mobility devices.
