Raptor Meet & Greet

Join us for one of our most popular events, a hit with kids and adults alike— the Birds of Prey Meet & Greet!

Get ready to meet some of Wisconsin’s coolest raptors up close and personal — and this year, we’re welcoming a very special visitor: the Turkey Vulture! This often-overlooked bird plays a big role in keeping nature clean (seriously, it’s nature’s janitor). Come learn why turkey vultures are amazing, how they help the environment… and yes — how they vomit on predators when threatened.

Plus, you’ll get to meet some of our returning feathered friends, learn about their wild lives, and get your photo taken with the birds.

This is a free event. Free will donations will be collected to help feed and house the rehabilitated raptors at River Valley Raptors, Inc.
Registration isn’t necessary, but it really helps us plan for space.
