George Hesselberg, former Wisconsin State Journal reporter and author of Dead Lines: Slices of Life from the Obit Beat, will share some of the best slices of his work to honor the lives of those who had died—a sword designer, a radio villain, a pioneering female detective, a homeless woman who spoke fluent French, and a beloved classroom tarantula, among them.
