At one time, mapmakers created an elaborate figure called the compass rose to depict the cardinal directions for points on a map. Together, we will create a compass rose as we reflect on the direction our lives are taking and where we would like to go. The Zentangle Method is an easy-to-learn, relaxing and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. These patterns, called tangles, are created with combinations of dots, lines, simple curves, S-curves and orbs. No previous art experience needed though you will feel like an artist by the end of the class.
The Rev. Christine Isham, Ph.D., is a Certified Zentangle Teacher and a hospital chaplain.
