This kid-friendly adventure in La Crosse is sure to entertain the entire family! Start the day with some spotted Mickey Mouse pancakes, burn off some energy at the three level children’s museum, and fuel back up at the 1930s style ice cream parlor. Whether you are there for the weekend, or just a day trip, this adventure is not to be missed!

Blue Moon Restaurant

Blue Moon Restaurant is a great starting point for your day and has been a staple along highway 35 for over 100 years! Conveniently located overlooking Lake Onalaska, Blue Moon serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. We stopped by first thing in the morning and enjoyed some spotted Mickey Mouse Pancakes and Colossal French Toast. PC @mnbucketlistmom

Childern’s Museum of La Crosse

The Children’s Museum of La Crosse is an amazing place to burn off energy. There are three floors of fun and exciting exhibits to discover including an imaginative play area, tree house, and shadow room. Our personal favorite was the whoosh-a series of tubes that suck in, and spit back out scarves for the kids to catch. We also loved the giant climbing structure that spanned all three floors! The Pearl Ice Cream Parlor

After a fun morning at the children’s museum, fuel up at The Pearl, an adorable 1930s style ice cream shop. The iced coffee was amazing and the waffle cones and ice cream are both made in house daily. Our favorites were the mint chocolate chip and cotton candy, both served in a sprinkle waffle cone of course! PC @mnbucketlistmom
