We’re two longtime friends who were born and raised in La Crosse, Wisconsin. We’ve been in the restaurant industry for twenty years, first in La Crosse, then in Minneapolis, then Seattle. After the Covid pandemic, we decided, like so many others, to move back home to be closer to family and do our own thing our own way.
We are primarily a food manufacturing facility making shelf-stable products for retail purchases in the grocery market. Ben and I have seen the good, the bad, and the ugly in this industry and wanted to create a company with culture at its forefront. A company that creates the highest quality product using the highest quality ingredients possible sourced as locally as possible. But beyond this, we wanted to create a company that supports our values and the ethical growth of the local economic engine of the driftless region.
We believe in work-life balance, autonomy, authenticity, empowerment, and worker-led decision-making.
