The Berg Hemker Olson American Legion Post 51, West Salem is a Veterans service organization. Our legion family consists of The American Legion Post 51, American Legion Auxiliary Unit 51 and The Sons of the American Legion Squadron 51.
We have a newly renovated building and are open to the public. Our building is available for the public to rent for weddings, class reunions, baby & bridal showers, anniversaries, birthday and graduation parties, celebrations of life and most other events. Our newly renovated bar is open every Friday night, we play bingo the first Monday of every month and offer an AYCE breakfast buffet the 2nd Sunday of every month (except May and June – breakfast is on Mother’s day and Father’s day those months).
