River Vault is an annual pole vault competition featured as one of the events during Riverfest’s many activities. People of all ages, heights, and abilities are welcomed and encouraged to join. This is a great chance for athletes to continue vaulting in the summer in front of a large crowd. This is a great spectator sport that engages the crowd with high intensity competition, fun and engaging athletes, music, games, and more! In 2015, River Vault made history by being the first ever pole vault competition on water! 2016 is bigger and better with a bigger barge and two days of pole vaulting action.
This event takes many hands in order to make it one of the premier events annually. Please consider lending a hand for an hour or for a day, whatever works for you.
