Mississippi Valley Conservancy
Mississippi Valley Conservancy’s goal is to preserve and protect land for future generations. Throughout this process, they are also conserving the wildlife, water, local economies, and outdoor recreation. Mississippi Valley works to restore habitats, and provide learning opportunities for all.

City of La Crescent
The city of La Crescent, Mn has been recognized by Minnesota Green Step Cities because of their efforts to implement sustainable practices in their city. The efforts include but are not limited to reducing energy use, reducing pollution, conserving natural resources, encouraging citizens to be active problem solvers, and cost savings. With People’s Food Co-op’s mission including educating on food, health and sustainability while providing local and organic foods, it’s no secret that the co-op is putting in the work toward a more sustainable future. People’s Food Co-op is your local grocery store with food that you can feel great about!

Larson’s General
Larson’s General Store is your go-to for low-waste everyday products that are ethically sourced! Goods from the store are from sustainable companies that have the planet in mind through their ingredients, packaging, and creation of the product. Larson’s General has all of the sustainable swaps that you can use in your home!

Drift Cycle
What better way to implement sustainable practices than introducing 75 new bikes into our community? Drift Cycle has partnered with public and private sponsorships to improve the accessibility in the community and to provide a more sustainable transportation option for all. There are 13 stations around the city of La Crosse where you can find a bike!

La Crosse Center
As the La Crosse Center finished up a 8-year project to renovate and expand, they had green initiatives in mind. These upgrades include, but are not limited to: replacing all lighting with LED bulbs to decrease energy consumption, upgrading the HVAC system to lower costs ad expand the lifespan of equipment, and adding water softeners to help protect longevity of the equipment.

Dynamic Lifecycle Innovations
Dynamic Lifecycle Innovations is a local company that works to protect the environment from pollution of electronic waste. The company accomplishes this task by recycling electronics, recovering materials, utilizing their skillful IT asset disposition, and more. In total, Dynamic Lifecycle Innovations has handled 208,319,733 pounds of materials and diverted it out of the landfill!
