It's Monster Mash time! Let’s do the Time Warp again!
Join us for a night spinning and shuffling on the dance floor to popular swing, line, and ballroom dance music. The Concordia Ballroom's huge sprung maple dance floor boasts plenty of space for simultaneous line and partner dancing–let's fill it up with Zombies, Witches, Ghouls, and Werewolves!
• 6:30pm Doors open–enter at front on La Crosse Street
• 7pm Swing lesson with Aaron Durand from Riverside Swing Addicts followed by. . .
• Thriller (by Michael Jackson) line dance lesson by Susan Crutchfield from River Road Line Dancers
• Open dancing starts at 8pm
• All music will support both a partner dance style and a line dance
• Costume contest with prizes! Winner announced at 9pm
• Special spooky mock/cocktails available at the cash bar
$15 cash at the door/ $10 for students with ID
All ages are welcome and no partner is needed!
This dance is a fundraiser for the new 501(c)(3) non-profit organization Friends of the Concordia Ballroom (concordiaballroom.org), which is dedicated to preserving the legacy of our beautiful hall for future generations.
