Meet award-winning and bestselling author, Allen Eskens. Eskens’ novels are beloved in our community, and his newest historical thriller—The Quiet Librarian—has received multiple starred reviews from Publisher’s Weekly, Booklist, Library Journal and Kirkus.

Eskens will talk about his latest book and sign copies that will be available for purchase at the event, courtesy of Pearl Street Books.

ALLEN ESKENS BIO

Allen Eskens is the bestselling author of ten novels including: The Life We Bury, Nothing More Dangerous, and The Quiet Librarian. He is the recipient of the Barry Award, Minnesota Book Award, Left Coast Crime Award, and Silver Falchion Award and has been a finalist for the Edgar® Award, Thriller Award, Nero Award, and Anthony Award. His books have been translated into 23 languages.

Allen grew up in the hills of central Missouri. He now lives with his wife, Joely, in greater Minnesota where he recently retired after practicing criminal law for 25 years.
