Ecolution: Ecosystems La Crosse

Join the La Crosse Film Academy, La Crosse Adventure Film Festival, Sustainability Institute, and the Rivoli Theatre and Pizzeria for a special Earth Day film screening and community engagement event. Featuring the premiere of the new locally produced film Ecosystem La Crosse as well as a specially curated program of eco-oriented adventure films, this family-friendly event will celebrate our community’s commitment to environmental stewardship through education and climate action. With special appearances by community partners who are championing environmental education and the health of our local ecosystems, we will spend this Earth Day highlighting tangible actions we can all take to protect our natural habitats and care for our human and non-human neighbors.

Ecosystem La Crosse: La Crosse, Wisconsin is taking bold steps toward climate action, and we’re documenting the journey. Ecosystem La Crosse explores how environmental education is a continuous and essential part of creating a healthier local ecosystem. Featuring inspiring stories of students and their experiences learning about environmental science and stewardship, this film provides insight into the La Crosse Climate Action Plan and the spaces and people that bring our community together and closer to achieving the plan’s goals through education.

This event is free and open to the public, although reservations are encouraged. Donations are welcomed and will support the Sustainability Institute and the La Crosse Film Academy.
