Colleen has been creating a series of oil paintings featuring the area around the Trempealeau Refuge. On display through May in the Gallery of The Nature Place formerly known as Myrick Park Center will be Grasses of the Refuge. An artists reception will be held Wednesday, May 3 from 6-8. The public is welcome to attend. There will be light refreshments, many more framed paintings of the Refuge along with a special on her unframed oil paintings during the evening. A drawing for a painting will take place that evening in honor of No Mow May.
