Transgender Awareness Week is November 13-19. To open dialog, a local panel will discuss issues and legislation affecting the human rights of transgender people. Speakers: Dr. Erin Gutowski, Gundersen Health System physician; Will Van Roosenbeck, UWL's LGBTQIA+ Services Director; Adam Whitney, UWL student. Lunch is available for $20, or you can attend for free without ordering lunch. Register at lwvlacrosse.org/program to reserve your lunch or a Zoom link if you cannot attend in person. Lunches must be reserved and paid for by the end of day Thursday, 11/2, so that we can provide an exact meal count. Pre-paid lunches are nonrefundable.
