In celebration of World Migratory Bird Day, join refuge staff and partners on a FREE bird identification walk through the floodplain forest! We’ll walk one mile or less during this informal program.

Where: Shady Maple Interpretive Trail at Goose Island County Park, W6488 County Road GI, Stoddard, WI 54658
The Shady Maple Interpretive Trail is located off of the first left-hand turn as you enter the park. The turn is in front of the flag poles – if you pass Shelter #1, you've driven too far. Parallel parking is located along the roadside and is limited – please park in a way that leaves maximum space for other visitors to join.

Registration is NOT required. A limited number of binoculars will be available to borrow on a first-come, first-served basis. We’ll be walking on a mostly flat, unpaved trail. Please bring insect protection and drinking water. Ticks may be present. Please leave pets at home.
