Greetings boils and ghouls! The stench of the grave is thick in the air…the lights are low..so gather round close while we tell you tales sure to make your skin crawl…it’s time for SCHLOCKTOBERFEST 4: ANTHOLOGY OF TERROR!

Join us on Saturday, October 18th as we open the Rivoli’s cinematic crypt for our 4th annual horror movie marathon, full of Halloween thrills, chills, and schlocky b-movie kills!

So what makes this year an “Anthology of Terror”?
You inquisitive little devils, it’s simple! All four of this year’s cult classics represent an adaptation from the page to the screen. The pulpy putrid joy of horror comics, the unknowable dimensions of Lovecraft and one of the craziest Stephen King’s films ever made – this year’s volume of Schlocktoberfest is our best yet!

Costumes & Spooky Season festive wear encouraged!

DOORS OPEN: 1PM
2PM: Creepshow (1982), Directed by George A. Romero, Rated R
In this homage to the original line of EC horror comic books, five grisly stories from a child’s comic come to life, including a murdered father rising from his grave, a bizarre meteor, a vengeful husband, a mysterious crate's occupant, and a plague of cockroaches.

4:20PM: Maximum Overdrive (1986), Directed by Stephen King, Rated R
After a comet causes a radiation storm on Earth, machines come to life and turn against their makers. Holed up in a North Carolina truck stop, a group of survivors must fend for themselves against a mass of homicidal trucks. A diner cook with a criminal past emerges as the unlikely leader of the pack, attempting to find an escape plan for himself and the other survivors.

6:20PM: From Beyond (1986), Directed by Stuart Gordon, Rated R
When an obsessive scientist successfully discovers a way to access a parallel universe of pleasure, he unwittingly opens the doors to forces beyond his control. After he is seemingly killed during one of his experiments, his assistant, Dr. Crawford Tillinghast (Jeffrey Combs), is accused of the murder. In an attempt to prove his innocence, he returns to the scene of the experiment, this time assisted by psychiatrist Katherine McMichaels (Barbara Crampton) and detective Bubba Brownlee (Ken Foree). The trio soon risk a return to the other world, one that will leave them all changed in ways they couldn’t begin to imagine.

8:20PM: Tales from the Crypt: Demon Knight (1995), Directed by Ernest Dickerson, Rated R
In this siege/western/horror/comedy mashup, a mysterious drifter named Frank Brayker (William Sadler) is on the run from a sinister but charming demon known only as “Collector” (Billy Zane).
For over 90 years, Brayker has acted as the guardian of an ancient key, one that can unlock an unspeakable evil. And for those same 90 years, Collector has been hot on his trail, seeking to use the key’s power to intiate the apocalypse. When Brayker finds himself stranded at a boarding house in New Mexico, he must rely on an eclectic cast of local dead-enders to help him fend off Collector’s horde of demonic spawn.
