Norskedalen’s Twilight Tour always creates fascinating and memorable evenings. At the start of the evening is a delicious three-course dinner catered by a local chef and accompanied by wine, music, and pleasant company.
Following dinner is a specially curated tour that you won’t find anywhere else as each year features a theme near and dear to Norskedalen and our mission. As guides lead visitors through the picturesque valley at the hour of twilight, they will experience the past as historic figures share their stories and how they made their mark in history.
Dinner begins at 5:00 p.m. with the tour to follow. This year’s event will be held on September 6, 2025.
Here’s just a tidbit about this year’s program:
Soprano Laura Loge and her accompanist Steven Luksan have a wonderful program of songs and piano music by Norwegian-American immigrant composers; Musical Migrations is a blend of classical music, historically popular (and sometimes silly) music, and beloved nostalgic chestnuts that our grandparents used to sing.
Eden Ehm will join us once again, bringing her Hardanger fiddle and wealth of flat fiddle repertoire from throughout Norway! Eden has entranced audiences at Midsummer Fest, and brings her joy in sharing the music of this unique instrument to enhance out Twilight Tour celebration.
GrassRun Band is a Norskedalen favorite! As Laura, Steven adn Eden share music from Norway, GrassRun Band will share the music that developed in communities throughout America as new traditions were created. There’s no one who can share early American music like GrassRun Band!!
Reservations will be necessary to reserve your spot! $55/non-member; $50/member with current membership card.
