The 34th Annual Great Tri-State Rail Sale is to be held Saturday, January 24, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at The La Crosse Center.

The Tri-State Rail Sale traditionally hosts vendors from six states offering 300 tables of railroad related merchandise.

Rail Sale patrons will have the opportunity to buy, sell, and trade an outstanding selection of model, toy and antique trains, books, magazine, railroad memorability, railroad art, hobby supplies, repairs and replacement parts and accessories, and many more related items. 

• Admission is just $8.00. Children under 12 are free when accompanied by an adult.
• All proceeds from this event are used to maintain and restore The La Crosse Short Line Railroad Heritage Museum. The 4000 Foundation is a non-profit organization formed in 1998.
