The Department of History at UW La Crosse is a dynamic educational program that hosts several history and local culture events throughout the year. The department was the leader in establishing Hear, Here La Crosse. An audio tour through downtown La Crosse that shares everyday voices to create a better awareness of what happens downtown. They seek out the stories of business people, of tourists, and of those that live downtown.
