Come hear a story about camouflaged creatures at the Upper Mississippi River National Wildlife and Fish
Refuge! This FREE children’s program will teach participants that camouflage is an essential strategy in the
natural world that helps both predator and prey. Join us as we read “Secrets of Animal Camouflage,” written
by Carron Brown and illustrated by Wesley Robbins. After our story time, we will complete a short outdoor
activity (weather permitting) that simulates how animal camouflage works in the wild!
