Register and come refresh/improve your curling skills. Whether you’ve only curled once at a Learn-to-Curl event, only curled a few times in the past, or haven’t curled for a while and want to get back into it, this league is for you!
There will be experienced curlers on the ice willing to help you out with the basics while you are curling each week. Reminder that you will need rubber soled shoes, loose fitting pants, and comfortable layers of clothing. Another reminder is that the ice is “pebbled” with distilled water and isn’t slippery like regular ice; you can almost walk normally on it. For those former curlers who remember the ice as being SLICK, that issue has been resolved.
All equipment is provided by the curling club, or you can purchase your own equipment. Please note, all participants must sign a waiver and must weigh more than 50lbs to curl. We have had middle and high school teams, families, friend groups, work groups, and multigenerational teams (ages 10-85) all enjoying curling. Won’t you join us for just four weeks?!?
