Cruisin’ Craft Beer & Film Festival taking place Saturday August 25, 2018 at the Weber Center for the Performing Arts
Cruisin’ Craft Beer & Film Festival is announcing its inaugural year at the Weber Center for the Performing Arts. Individuals and families are invited to the the film festival beginning at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 25. The film festival will feature films produced by local, national and international filmmakers featuring bicycles and bicyclist themes and subjects.
The feature film for Cruisin’ will be The Moment, a feature-length documentary about the origin of freeride mountain biking. Told by the bicyclist who lived it, this film is the origin story of a small movement of mountain bikers and filmmakers who rose up, challenged the status quo, and turned the sport of cycling on its head.
Beginning at 6pm, the craft beer tasting will feature over 20 craft beers from throughout the tri-state area. Local brewers who are proud of their craft will share their favorite craft beers. One brewery will be awarded the Taster’s Choice Award, voted on by attendees.
Single tickets for the film festival will start at $10 for adults and $5 for children, with packages available for multiple viewings. Beer tasting tickets are $50 and include entry to the film festival. Tickets are available through the Weber Center for Performing Arts beginning July 2, 2018.
