La Crosse Wind Symphony Spring Concert

The La Crosse Wind Symphony is a select adult ensemble performing the best wind and percussion repertoire from over 200 years of original and transcribed band music. The Spring concert on Sunday, April 23, is the final concert of the 2022-23 season. It will feature works by Gordon Jacob, Alfred Reed, Malcolm Arnold, Johannes Brahms, John Philip Sousa, Leroy Anderson and Haydn Wood. This performance also marks our first ever High School Honors Concert. Several outstanding high school students have been selected through director recommendation, written application and audition to perform in the second half of the concert in a side-by-side performance with LWS musicians. This special performance begins at 3:00 pm in the Trygve Mathison Fine Arts Center at Holmen High School. It is free and open to the public – donations excepted.
