Personal renewal allows us to live with self-acceptance, gratitude, compassion and the acceptance of grace. The possibilities are in every moment, with each thought, in every action. Through individual written reflection and group interaction, you will have opportunities and time to recognize the grace that is always abundantly available. Our time together will include silence, guided discussion, poetry, wisdom tradition essays and art experiences. The retreat is based on the Circle of Trust® approach developed by Parker J. Palmer, Ph.D., writer, activist and co-founder of the Center for Courage & Renewal.

Mary Louise Peters, a facilitator prepared by the Center for Courage & Renewal (www.couragerenewal.org) has been designing and facilitating Circle of Trust® retreat experiences since 2010. She also provides educational consultation and training across the U.S. to build state and local system capacity to improve outcomes for children with disabilities and their families.
