Art at the Refuge – Woodland Wildlife Ornaments

Winter is a time to pause for lots of wildlife as they hunker down to conserve energy during the colder days of the year. Come take a break with us and make a FREE pinecone reindeer or owl ornament! Enjoy a cup of hot cocoa or tea courtesy of the Friends of the Refuge – Mississippi River Pools 7 & 8.

Where: The Upper Mississippi River National Wildlife and Fish Refuge La Crosse District Visitor Center, N5727 County Road Z, Onalaska, WI 54650

When: Tuesday, December 19, 2023. Drop in anytime between 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., while supplies last!

Who: All ages welcome! The small pieces and hot glue guns needed make these crafts best suited for adults and older children with adult supervision and assistance.
