Working across ‘disciplines’ in a variety of modes and materials, 5 researcher/artists express the hope that visual communication can point the way to a more ecologically sustainable future. From scientific illustration, to interpreting nature and even using new materials that literally detoxify, this exhibition asks us to take a close look at living in the Anthroprocene.

The common motivation and goal for art and science is to first understand and describe the world around us; then engage in concepts of reflection across all elements of society, and ultimately effect changes in our group and individual behavior. Art and science asks us to change and changes us.

Artists: Pat Hidson, Barrett Klein, Bethann Moran-Handzlik, Jasmine Pradissitto and Jennifer Williams
