Grief & Ambiguous Loss in Caregiving

The loss of a loved one has many faces. Whether it is an unexpected sudden death or a slow progression towards end of life, the grieving process can look different for every individual. When there is a lack of closure or resolution accompanying a loss, it complicates the grieving process.
We will explore the experience of ambiguous loss in general as well as for care partners of people with dementia.
