Join local historian Veronica Kleiber for a look into the lives of Royce and Fran Jones, and the Jones Arboretum. Learn about what is considered to be the largest armillary known to exist in the country, which was built by Royce many years ago. Current owners of Second Nature at Reads Creek Nursery, David & Jennifer Tubbin, will share more about the current use of the nursery, and plans for future for growth. Also, join nursery owners Dave & Jen at 5pm at Salt & Tipple for Viroqua SOUP, a local crowd-raising event, as they submit an application for a community education grant. For $5, you get a bowl of soup, bread and one vote for whichever community project you would like to support. Should be a wonderful evening!
